The Energizer Bunny

I was thoroughly convinced that today was going to be the day that Thing #1 would crash, and actually take a nap.  His eyes were bloodshot by dinner last night and by quiet time he was very calmly playing in his room.  So, I knew it was just a matter of time before he was out like a light.  And then, 20 minutes later, he was not only still awake but getting antsy.  He powered through his quiet time and was raring to go for the rest of the afternoon.  Maybe this is the end of his napping, or maybe he is adjusting going to school.  Who knows.  At least he is a happy camper....so far!
