It's Summer!
We went to the pool today and it was glorious. Okay, so the water was very cold and Thing #2 cried a lot while The Husband tried to get him to float. Thing #2 cried some more when he got pinched by a beetle that he was playing with in the kiddie pool, and we all came home very grumpy. But, the sun was out. Thing #1 loved his new floaties and did not want to get out of the pool, ever. We spent well over an hour there. It was great. Thing #1 wants to go back tomorrow. I plan on going every day that we are around this summer. That might be a little hard with two kids in opposite directions that don't know how to swim, but hey, a girl can dream!

SO glad the floatie went over well with Thing #1! We can't wait till you are home and we can meet up at the pool. We too are doing the same thing, have been to the pool everyday this week and are heading out this morning as well. Thinking of you and hope things are going well for you. Give us a buzz when you get home!! Hugs!!
SOO glad Thing #1 loves his floatie. Bummed to miss you earlier at the pool but can't wait to play at the pool when you get back. Our summer plans are the same as yours, we've been to the pool every day this week and are heading there in a few hours. We'll definitely help with the kiddos going in different directions when you get back =) Safe travels, sending you hugs!!
