Thing #1 took his responsibilities very seriously and sang and danced for every single song. He has come a long way in a year. The best part was that he only told us about one or two songs and the rest were, according to him, top secret. This is him going up to get his folder, with his "certificate of Excellence," and yes, he went so fast that it really was a blur.
And then, Thing #3 was a trooper, just as she always is. For two days in a row the preschool programs happened right in the middle of one of her naps. She hung in there though so that we could all go and was pretty happy. The bow in her hair (it is there, it is just brown) is for my mom, and Thing #1 insisted that she wear it to his program. I am sure my mom would have preferred pink.
So that's it. We are gearing up for the summer. Tomorrow might be our first pool day and then we head up to visit family next week. It should be a great summer and I am going to try to enjoy every minute of it before Thing #1 goes to kindergarten. I don't know if either of us is ready for that just yet.
